Mark 3

   1. And he entered again into the synagogue, and a man having a withered hand was there.
   2. And they watched him closely, if on the Sabbath he will heal him, in order that they might accuse him.
   3. And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Stand in the midst.”
   4. And he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil? To save life or to kill?” But they were silent.
   5. And looking around at them with anger, being grieved because of the hardness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Stretch forth your hand,” and he stretched it out and his hand was restored.
   6. And going out, the Pharisees immediately began to plot with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
   7. And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and a great number from Galilee followed, and from Judea,
   8. And from Jerusalem and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon, a great crowd came to him because they heard all that he was doing.
   9. And he said to his disciples that a small boat should stand ready for him on account of the crowd in order that they might not crush him.
   10. For he healed many, so that they pressed against him in order that they might touch him, as many as had diseases.
   11. And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him and were crying out and saying, “You are the Son of Go
   12. And he forcefully rebuked them that they might not make him known.
   13. And he went up on the mountain, and he called to himself whom he wanted, and they came to him.
   14. And he appointed twelve, whom he also named apostles, in order that they might be with him, and in order that he might send them to preach.
   15. And to have authority to cast out demons.
   16. And he appointed the twelve, and he gave Simon the name Peter.
   17. And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, and he gave to them the name Bonanerges, which is sons of thunder.
   18. And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
   19. And Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
   20. And he came into a house, and the crowd again came together, so that they were not able even to eat a meal.
   21. And when his family heard, they went out to seize him, for they were saying that he is out of his mind.
   22. And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzeboul,” and “By the ruler of the demons he drives out the demons.”
   23. And after he called them, he began to speak to them in parables, “How is Satan able to drive out Satan?
   24. And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
   25. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
   26. And if Satan has arisen against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand, but he has an end.
   27. But no one is able to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house.
   28. Truly, I say to you that all sins and whatsoever blasphemies they may blaspheme will be forgiven to the sons of men.
   29. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.
   30. Because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
   31. Then his mother and brothers come, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
   32. And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside seeking you.”
   33. And answering, he said to them, “Who are my mother and brothers?”
   34. And looking around at those sitting in a circle around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers!
   35. For whoever does the will of God, this is my brother and sister and mother.”
